They are very skilled but this IS a show fight, they do it every night to entertain/educate tourists before the real matches. It’s good because it shows lots of moves that most fighters don’t bother with. The only time I’ve ever seen a real fight in Thailand with no gloves was on the Thai/Burma border.

it depends what you mean by “equal”. equal in showmanship? how fun they are to participate in? strength of strikes? lethality? number of practitioners? no, martial arts are not all equal, but different arts usually have their own proficiencies

every job in this planet doesnt has the same interest and difficulty.its the same thing for sports and martial arts.not all sports has same difficulty and not all martial arts are the same.if u compare tkd with mt for example is like comparing porse with datsun toyota.its enormus differences.NOT EVEY MARTIAL ART ARE EQUAL…AS NOT EVERY JOBS ARE EQUAL..of course a person fromhis talents make the difference in his martial art.

Hmmmm well guys this isn’t really Muay Thai. You see, this martial art is called “Muay Boran”, the art in which Muay Thai was based. Both styles are very similar, with only a very few differences in their techniques. The only very big difference is, of course, the rules of the competition. They use a kind of ropes tied to their hands instead of gloves, for example. BTW nice video.

definitely not a real fight, the ropes round the fists and forearms have been banned for many years. also there would not be any commentator at a real fight. this was just a show
