   I return to pattaya in february and march. Thai people are very friendly, and i learn thai. Good place.

   For anyone who does not know what the worse feeling in the world is. Its sitting at the departure gate at Suvarnabhumi airport after spending 4 weeks in Thailand waiting to go home. I actually shed a few tears on the plane going back. My advice to anyone going there soon is. Make the most of EVERY single second. This place is truly heaven on earth.

    Its true I have gone over with 8 guys over the years and everyone has cried either on the way to the airport or at the airport. Me I just got real depressed once i got back home to Massachusetts on a cold dreary grey Feb winter day.

    Its a little bit depressing that nearlly everyone one of the pattaya videos on youtube have a sexual vibe about them or in some way or another related to bar girls or having sex with them. If your open minded enough there is way more to do and see than just sex and bar girls. If you head in land there`s some beautiful sights to see. Im not sure who is to blame, us farangs or them for allowing tourist areas to become so seedy and pervy. It goes against their buddhist principles.

    well I totally agree with you. Thailand has much more to offer than bar girls .But Pattaya isn’t Thailand- Pattaya is Pattaya. And it’s attraction is the girls!

    It’s about 140 kilometres from the airport Suvarnabhumi, less than 2 hours by bus or an hour and a half by taxi. The beach is lame btw, it’s attraction are the girls(only)

    Take a fold up chess board/pieces with you its a good way to make friends. Along the beach path there are walls to sit on and set the board out with pieces. People stop and watch, maybe ask if they can play, shake hands have a chat. Watch pattaya daily life go by as opponent thinking move with a nice drink. Sexy girls stop and watch and try understand can flirt hehehe. I made good friends.
